Southampton manager Mauricio Pellegrino is hoping to recruit more players in what has been an increasingly difficult transfer window for the club ahead of the new Premier League season.
“We are examining the market,” Pellegrino, who supplanted Claude Puel as manager at St Mary’s in June, told journalists.
“We have a few choices and dependably we can enhance the squad. We will continue onward and after we will hold up to perceive what happens.
“The market is difficult, a ton of vital groups are trying for the best players. We are sure that somebody can come.”
Pellegrino said he hopes to see an “alternate dynamic” from his group when they have Sevilla in their last pre-season well disposed match on Saturday.
Following a 3-0 triumph over St Etienne a weekend ago, the Argentine was baffled to see a disappointing execution when they were beaten 4-0 by FC Augsburg at St Mary’s on Wednesday.
“Ideally we can change the face in the following diversion, since we have very little time, however I think for beyond any doubt we can’t rehash a similar circumstance on the pitch that we had (against Augsburg),” he included.
Pellegrino’s side commence their league season against Swansea City at home on Aug. 12.
