Everton have rejected an £85m bid from LaLiga champions Barcelona according to Skysports.
The Brazilian who has scored 10 goals in 27 appearance so far this season for Everton, appears to be a long term target for Barca’s sporting director Eric Abidal after he made an enquiries for him (Richarlison), but got negative response.
The 22-year old signed for Everton back in 2018, from fellow Premier League club Watford for a fee worth £40m, has gone one to make 60 appearances for the Toffees.
However, it is believed the young attacker is part of the squad set up to push Everton to greater heights, as the club sees him a their great asset and would not want to loose him.
Meanwhile, Barcelona who are keen to strengthen their squad, with Luis Suarez out with a long term lay off, Philippe Coutinho out on loan to Bayern Munchen, and now reports of academy graduate Carles Perez on the verge of joining AS Roma.
The five times UEFA Champions League winners are left with Antonio Griezmann, Lionel Messi, Ousmane Dembele and 17-year old Ansu Fati as their attackers. They trail arch-rivals Real Madrid by three points after 2-0 defeat to Valencia.
