The Belgian international has spent four years with the Ligue 1 champions, and looks set to say goodbye for a move elsewhere as he aims at regular playing time.
Reports had it that the 28-year old refused signing a short term contract, to play in PSG Champions League ties in August.
He follows the likes of Edinson Cavani and Thiago Silva to be leaving the Le Parc des Princes at the end of the season.
The 28-year old right back told Le Parisien about the possibility of leaving next year.
“It’s something that could suit me,”
“I don’t think the club would make a lot of money from me, actually. I have a market value, but I’m a defender, I play one game out of three and I’m turning 28.
“It’s not like Adrien, who is worth 50 million euros.”
However, In Germany the 2020/21 Bundesliga season is set to begin on August 21, two days before the proposed Champions League final date.
