Liverpool get Mane and Thiago boost

Liverpool superstar players Sadio Mane and Thiago Alcantara are back in training after contracting the COVID 19 virus.

The pair were forced to follow strict isolation rules after their tests had returned positive.

Missed Matches

New signing Thiago Alcantara although asymptomatic was forced to miss games against Liverpool and Aston Villa.

While, Senegalese Sadio Mane missed just the match against Aston Villa in which Liverpool rather lost in a woeful manner.

Jurgen Klopp would be very happy seeing both players back in training just in time to face Everton.

Carlo Ancelotti’s Everton are top of the league dismantling everything in their front while playing good football.

Led by the wizardry of new comer James Rodriguez and reborn Dominic Calvert-Lewin, Liverpool neighbors are looking not to be pushovers this season.

The Mersey-side Blues have won all four of their matches in the Premier League

With the two players available for the Derby, Klopp has much options to choose from in redeeming the favorite tag.

Although he is going to be without Guinean international Naby Keita , after the midfielder tested positive for the virus.

Keita tested positive with four other members of the Guinea team while preparing for their friendlies in Portugal.

He immediately went into self isolation and is now waiting for results from follow up tests.

New boy Thiago Alcantara will be eager to change the fortunes of his new team after the drubbing in the hands of Aston Villa.

Thiago who joined from Champions League Champions Bayern Munich is eager to help the current Premier League Champions retain the title.

Ever reliable Mane is expected to replace high flying new comer Diogo Jota on the left wing .

Jota has been adapting to his surroundings very quickly after netting against Arsenal in the 3-1 win.

He is expected to be a reliable sub for the team but after his performance against Sweden Klopp will be scratching his head.

Liverpool Next Fixture

Liverpool will take on Everton at Goodison Park on Saturday 17th October at 12.30pm  in the first game of the day.

They then travel to Holland to take on Ajax in their first Champions League match on Wednesday.
